Review – COSRX Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence

First treatment essences are products that typically contain some form of yeast (or other) ferment, and they are meant to be applied prior to any toners or other essences. They are usually known for their ability to reduce redness and improve skin health and function. As a rosacea sufferer, anything that can possibly reduce redness is going to be an attractive option.

My first product in this category was the Nature Republic Saccharomyces The First Treatment Essence. I really enjoyed that product, but it was unfortunately discontinued and I was put on a mission to find a replacement. The COSRX Whitening Power Essence has been my first attempt.

Review – Scinic Honey All In One Ampoule

There was a whole lot of excitement when Shara Shara released their three Bomb ampoules in Honey, Berry, and Aqua. They featured great ingredients in enormous sizes, and where packaged in colorful jars reminiscent of homemade preserves. Unfortunately as far as I can tell, they are no longer in production and are pretty much impossible to find.

Luckily for us, shortly after Shara Shara’s release, Scinic swooped in with their own line of dupes labeled as All-In-One Ampoules, featuring 4 ‘flavors’: Honey, Snail, Aqua, and Iceland Water. These are all still very much available, and have become well-known favorites. The Honey version is by far the most popular, so that’s the one I decided to try first out of this line.

Review – NuFountain C20+ Ferulic Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C is one of my favorite skincare powerhouse ingredients. It’s one that has been well studied, and so its benefits are well known and actually backed up with scientific evidence. I consider a vitamin C product to be absolutely essential to my skincare routine because the benefits are far too good to pass up.
